Trip overview
The most famous structure is Al Khazneh, 45 meters high, a temple with a Greek-style facade and decoration, known as The Treasury, which many people identify from the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Al-Khazneh is a Hellenistic style building, entirely sculpted into the rock, which you reach after walking just over 1 kilometer through the gorge known as the Siq; it’s your reward for the hike.
